A little bit about my self...

I grew up in London UK & have been connected to illustration since I can remember. The first 'real' job I started was as an illustrator at a London based graphic design studio in the late 1980s. Drawing cartoon characters for confectionary packaging was my break into the design industry at the ripe old age of 17.

Later I transferred my hand drawing skills to the digital era around 1999 & continued to focus the skills in a commercial way & polish the over all end result of the designs. I could see how the digital tools could take my work further than before & enhance my art to a new level. I had almost given up with drawing at this stage because working with pen and paper didn't seem commercially viable & I was lost for inspiration & drive.

The internet came along & I could now understand Photoshop & Illustrator enough to see the light. My inspiration was back & I went with it. Im still here today, continuing to focus the skills & push out the work & get my artwork seen globally.

Influenced by graffiti art, music, cartoons, tattoos, typography, movies, and various other media, I always seem to refer back to these themes in my work. I enjoy testing out some newer styles in graphic art using these tools, allowing me to do more than I could have done with pen and ink in the dark days before the digital world was king.

I am now able to produce work at a much higher standard than I could have ever dreamed about when I was a kid. Without the internet & the tools now available, I doubt very much my folio would have continued beyond 1990.
